A renaissance gal passionista and her amazing family.

In the beginning…

There was a poem called Silver-Outlined Window.

I wrote it when I was 14, a freshman in high school. I believe it was the first poem I ever wrote. I still have the original – among the rest of my poems, stories, ideas….

Oh memories 🙂

Silver-Outlined Window

The rain spills on the silver-outlined window
The air is cool and musty
Melancholy clouds hang over in a condemning gloom
And the tree branches droop with every drop
Falling from the darkened ocean above
The water follows the path of strategically place spouts
Mother Nature stretches her open arms
Receiving a drink from the heavens
A cool air blows through
Bringing goosebumps to the flesh
Droplets slow on the transparent glass
And in short time the steady beat breaks
Now, only an occasional tapping
On the silver-outlined window

This is where I started as a creative person – maybe one day it will be worth a lot of money 😉

Hats off,
